SUCCESS in the Arts

This school year, Joy will be the new theater teacher at Success Academies East Flatbush Middle School, teaching a year long curriculum in her very own classroom (That’s right, THEATER classroom!) and directing productions with young thespians. Which will likely be Shakespeare (if you know Joy, you know teaching Shakespeare to children has been a dream of hers for ages). Joy is excited for the chance to make young theater nerds even nerdier. And three enormous cheers to Success Academy for having theater as a part of their Middle School curriculum and fighting for accessible, quality education for students all of New York City.
