Motivation is the name of the game when you’re in the studio with Joy. Every movement is motivated by acting, and every student is motivated by Joy. She is a beaming force.
A professional, consistently auditioning performer herself, Joy’s classes offer incredible insight into the business, while also providing students with the reality and the history behind every movement, from her own choreography, to that of iconic Broadway. Students don’t solely learn technique and, but learn how to emotionally imbue the smallest of steps with humanity.
Joy currently teaches Musical Theatre Dance Repertoire for Collegiate Seniors at Emerson College and Musical Theatre Dance for Voice Majors at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.
