Black Sheep Ensemble

Music, art, and movement collaboration

Black Sheep focuses on performing and creating new music. Founded in 2014, the ensemble has commissioned new works and taken part in interdisciplinary collaborations with dancers and visual artists. Joy has performed with the ensemble twice as a dancer, working alongside musicians to create and perform interdisciplinary works inspired by the artwork of local Boston artists, performing the pieces in the Boston Sculptor’s Gallery in and around the artwork itself.
