Joy teaches in the Musical Theatre Department at her grad school alma mater, teaching Musical Theatre performance for Non-Majors

Joy teaches as a member of the Berklee Theatre Arts Collaborative at BCM. Classes taught include: Musical Theatre Dance Workshop, Dance Styles for Singers, Musical Theatre New Works Ensemble, as well as several Boston Conservatory leveled dance classes in Jazz and Tap.

As faculty in Emerson College’s Dance department, Joy teaches Musical Theatre Dance Repertoire to the graduating Musical Theatre BFA seniors, as well as Introduction to Musical Theatre Dance for majors and non-majors alike.

From Kindergarten to college, Joy teaches theatre to every age group under the sun. Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts and Acting, and a Master’s Degree in Musical Theatre, she is passionate about inspiring a new level of theatre “nerdage” in students of all ages.
